Their hopoe in seeing Scootaloo the same again, is further daashed as another old foe arroves, intent on decimating the island. As chaos ensues, it seems the escape window might be closing, and the girls must choose: Freedom, or Friendship. Finally, part 3 is here...and it's as padded as Solitary Confinment. This trilogy was a test to see if I removed my limits (given by my co-writer at the time), and write with no page limit, no age limit, and no restrictions on ideas. It sounds great, doesn't it? All ideas are welcome, and can get their time to shine...except, I tended to fixate on weird things and add drawn out dialogue that not only made little sense, but often contradicted earlier dialogue. Needless to say, I would halt my experimentation and return to the limiting format I knew. I would return to experimentation 4 years later to a similar result. I experiment a bit now, but back then, I was too inexperienced to know when to stop and think about what to do, and where to put my foot down. TLDR: Sometimes limits are for the best...but not too many. (Also, fun fact. I would unwittingly rewrite this in 2022, into a book. It's had a few redrafts, and I think it might actually be worth a darn this time around. There's no Ponies, of course, but the core concepts are there.
