No doubt we're onto some kind of war between two different factions and here's my question: What faction will proclaim victory? Song: Ride Across The River Artist: Dire Straits Date: 1985 Album: Brothers In Arms Genre: Rock, Progressive PMV's original upload release date: March 22nd of 2024 Another song from Dire Straits this time from their most famous recording "Brothers In Arms". I always liked listening to this song thinking in both Twilight and Starlight, more specifically their small battle for ponies rights to keep their cutie marks and unique talents in the beginning of season 5. Besides, the song indeed talks in some ways about two different factions: "I'm a soldier of freedom..." -> Twilight | "I'm a soldier of fortune..." -> Starlight And with that concept in mind I wanted to do this PMV (which in reality is a remake from a very old version I did back in 2019). I know the song is maybe too niche and/or less likable in general (I know for a fact there are better songs from this band) but I hope I did a decent job and you find it enjoyable. LYRICS I'm a soldier of freedom in the army of man Oh, we are the chosen, we're the partisan (alright) Well the cause it is noble and the cause it is just We are ready to pay with our lives if we must Gonna ride across the river deep and wide Ride across the river to the other side And I'm a soldier of fortune, I'm a dog of war And we don't give a damn who the killing is for It's the same old story with a different name Death or glory, it's the killing game Gonna ride across the river deep and wide Ride across the river to the other side Oh, nothing gonna stop them as the day follows the night Right becomes wrong, the left becomes the right And they sing as they march with their flags unfurled Today in the mountains, tomorrow the world Gonna ride across the river deep and wide Ride across the river to the other side Gonna ride across the river deep and wide Ride across the river to the other side As always, see you next time! ^^ Sat, 17 Oct 2026 07:34:21 GMT https://validator.w3.org/feed/docs/rss2.html PeerTube - https://pony.tube https://pony.tube/client/assets/images/icons/icon-1500x1500.png https://pony.tube/videos/watch/882a66e7-1ce1-43be-8fbc-d38cfd8ea8cf All rights reserved, unless otherwise specified in the terms specified at https://pony.tube/about and potential licenses granted by each content's rightholder.
