It was actually one of the first ideas to "look real" in my mind, as vefore,m thet ghad all looked cartoony. Alas, I wouldn't write it down, but I;'m glad to share what little there wis of it. In hindsight, many movies of the 2000s would do this kind of thing. Or, at least its plot. So, it would have ended up being a bit unoriginal. The only reason I'm not gonna have a crack at it now, is because its just another Twilight vs Shadow Mare story. You may not have heard them all yet, but there are a bunch, and since this would not have seen her off for good, it would have just been another in the long list of times she was just flung off somewhere, rendering the day's troubles rather pointless. Sure, one could end it on a sombre note, knowing more lives are at risk, but it just feels like story I had already written, which sees Shadow flung off from a battle in a city, only to return for a final showdown. If you wanna take the core concept and give it a crack, be my guest. I'd be interested (and glad) to see if any of this old stuff inspires people.
