In mid 2014, my then-cowriter came up wuith a villain who controlled Scarletshy, and this was his backstory. It was a brief flashback, as told by Celestia before the final fight in what would have been the season finale, had this become a series. During this edit, he would rename several things, including Murdershy, the Slashers and their castle. Since I lost that file to time, I have recreated it from memory, but written it in my current style. I've extended things, made Salus more than just the "angel on the hill" and Malum more of a foreboding threat. Oh, and as for why Salus doesn't come back...uhhh, that's something my cowriter's never said, and I was too inexperienced back then to see it as the plot hole it is. Finally; I made the art for this today. I think it came out nicely. Trying to get back inmto high detail 2D art for the newer story covers. Hope you enjoy this.
