The idea is that it replaces the older design, and also acts as a lure (explained in the video). It is meant to be a new way of getting slaves and a more enhanced punisher for those using magic. This idea, I feel, could translate well to Unicorn supression. Though the design is from another fanchise entirely, this fandom does love its crossocers, and I've yet to see an Oddworld vs MLP crossover.
